Gasper Patti

 

 

Gasper Patti, of Winchester, formerly of Arlington,  passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 29, 2022. He was 89 years of age. 

 

Born in Sicily Italy, Gasper is the son of the late Carmelo and Francesca (Costanza) Patti. 

 

Gasper migrated to America on April 15, 1961. He worked as a mason in construction during the day and went to school at night to receive his G.E.D. and learn to speak English.

 

Gasper loved and cared deeply for his wife Marie. They shared 68 years of marriage. 

 

Gasper was generous and kind and always ready to help others with their home improvement projects. He was very handy and loved to fix things. He loved to keep active and alongside his wife together they loved gardening and canning tomatoes every year with his family and friends. 

 

Gasper is the beloved husband of Marie (Prete) Patti. He is the cherished father of Carmen Patti and his wife Margaret Nelson, Louis Patti and his wife Patricia and Angela Wasson and her husband Michael. He is the devoted grandfather of Michelle Patti, Christopher Patti and Jillian Patti and the great grandfather of Elizabeth. He is the dear brother of Lillo, Carmela, Angela and the late Lino, Guiseppe, Carmelo and Salvatore. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews in Sicily, Belgium and America. 

 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Saturday July 2, 2022 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 8:30 am - 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Gasper’s Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
