Gasper N. Zaffino

Gasper worked at Draper Lab in Cambridge for over 30 years. Once retiring, he enjoyed going to Florida every year to his home in Briny Breezes in DelRay Beach. He loved to golf, whether in Florida or in North Reading MA as a member of the Hillview Country Club where he would golf every Wednesday. He also enjoyed being a teammate on the Eagles Softball team for many years. He loved hosting one of the biggest cookouts of the year on the Fourth of July at his home in Revere. He will be missed by all who knew him.

 

Gasper is the beloved husband of Frances (Caparella) Zaffino. He is the loving brother of the late Phyllis Wolowicz, Lucy Ryan and Josephine Wolowicz. He is the dear brother in law of Janice Turilli and her late husband Sal and Annette Angelo and her husband Joseph. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. 

 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Thursday December 1st, 2022 from 3 pm to 6 pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and elevator available.
