Genevieve M. Demenkow

Genevieve M. (Faulkner) Demenkow of Reading passed away on Sunday October 5, 2003 at Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester. She was 86 years of age.
Born and raised in Reading, Genevieve was a lifelong resident of Reading. She worked for many years in the Reading School System. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
Genevieve was the beloved wife of the late Joseph J. Demenkow. She was the devoted mother of Paul Demenkow and his wife Frances of Wakefield, James Demenkow and his wife Roberta of Florida. Genevieve was the cherished grandmother of Victoria Lee of Georgia, Shawn Demenkow of Iraq, Michele Demenkow of Florida and Jeffrey Demenkow of England and the loving great grandmother of Timothy, Andrew and Emily, all of Melrose. She was the dear sister of the late William Faulkner and Doris Bedley. Genevieve was also survived by her dear niece Kathy Faulkner and many other loving nieces and nephews.
A Service will be conducted in the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Thursday at 10am with Reverend David Reed officiating. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday 4-8pm. Interment Charles Lawn Memorial Park Reading. Donations in memory of Genevieve may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, MASS Chapter 495 Old Connecticut Path, Suite 220, Framingham MA 01701-4567.
