Genevieve "Ginny" (Anderson) Richards of Reading passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at her home. She was 76 years of age.
Born in Peabody, Ginny was the loving daughter of the late George Anderson and Evelyn (Miller) Anderson. Ginny was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Ginny worked at Reading Co-Operative Bank for many years. She worked as a teller and then as a bookkeeper. She loved spending time with her family, especially having fun in Maine. Ginny enjoyed cribbage, cards and puzzles. Ginny treasured her children and grandchildren. She liked to get together with her lunch bunch buddies, who were caring and supportive. She had many loving friends and relatives who will miss her dearly.
Ginny was the beloved wife of the late Thomas "Tim" Richards. She was the loving mother of Lori Reppucci and her husband Robert of Wilmington, Kevin Richards and his wife Barbara of Methuen. Ginny was the beloved nanie of Robert Reppucci, Joseph Reppucci and Thomas Reppucci, all of Wilmington. She was the dear sister of Priscilla Payne, Mary Cook, Thomas Anderson, Jackie Anderson and the late Frank, Jimmy, Vinnie, Connie & Donnie. Ginny was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service celebrating Ginny's Eternal Life will be held on Saturday at 10:30am in the Chapel of the Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Friday from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
