Gennaro Contaldi

Gennaro Contaldi of Malden passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at The Courtyard Rehab Center in Medford. He was 90 years of age.

Born on July 7, 1929 in Controne (Salerno), Italy, Gennaro is the loving son of the late Gaetano Contaldi and Rose (Gammaldi) Contaldi. Gennaro is a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Gennaro is the beloved husband of Adelaide (Iannone) Contaldi. He is the devoted father of Luciana Rossetti and her husband Luciano, Gaetanina Ingraiti and her husband Vittorio, Giovanna Romano and her husband Luigi, Gaetano Contaldi and Roberta Jordan and her husband Joseph. He is the former father in law of Joanne (Ruggiero) Contaldi. Gennaro is the cherished grandfather of Concetta Pugliese, Sabrina Orman, Benjamin Rossetti, Nadia Pace, Robert Romano, Kenneth Romano, Katia DiCenso, Gia Contaldi, Gerard Contaldi, Alexa Jordan and the late baby Katia Romano. The caring great grandfather of Andrew, Caterina, Bianca, Victoria, Luciano, Antonio, Francesca, Alessia, Milania, Joseph, Davio, Luca and Marco, he is the dear brother of Giovanna DeSimone and the late Giuseppe Contaldi, Eduardo Contaldi, Roberto Contaldi, Antonietta Randazzo, Gina Perillo and Umberto Perillo. Gennaro is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the social gathering restrictions, a Celebration of Gennaro's Life will be held at a later date.
