George H. Ranney

George H. Ranney of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Winchester Hospital. He was 69 years of age. Born on December 31, 1945 in Boston, George was the son of the late Anthony Cioffi and Ella (Pizzi) Cioffi. George was a loving and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be deeply missed.

George was the beloved husband of Connie (Picillo) Ranney. He was the devoted father of Stacey Briffett and her husband Joe, Kimberly Loughran and her husband David and Scott Ranney and his significant other Brooke Burns. The cherished grandfather of Nicole Lucarotti and her significant other Joseph Monclova, Alison Simboli, Joseph Briffett, Nicholas Ranney, Matthew Briffett and Zachary Ranney, George was the dear brother of William Ranney, Harry Ranney and his wife Priscilla, Enrico Cioffi and his wife Linda , Anthony Cioffi and the late Diane Hurley and Dennis Cioffi. He was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A Funeral Service Celebrating George's Eternal Life will be held on Sunday, November 1st at 3pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St., (Rte. 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the family prior to the service beginning at 11am in the Funeral Home. Parking Attendants and elevator are available.
