Gerald L. Calisi

Gerald L. Calisi, a cherished resident of Stoneham and a native of Somerville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at the age of 82. He was the beloved son of the late Lozzaro "Lawrence" and Apolina Calisi. His life was defined by warmth, kindness, and deep connections with those who knew him.

Gerald L Calisi was a devoted family man whose love and kindness touched the lives of those around him.  He was the beloved husband of Maureen (McNamara) Calisi of Stoneham, sharing a life filled with warmth and companionship.  A proud and dedicated father, he leaves behind his cherished sons, Jerry Calisi and his wife Patty of Stoneham, and Daniel Calisi of Stoneham.

Gerald's greatest joy was his role as a loving grandfather to Samantha and Sophia Calisi who brought immense happiness to his life  He was a dear brother to Annmarie and her late husband Domenic Previte of Waltham, Lawrence 'Butch' Calisi and his wife Kathy of Georgetown, Anthony Calisi and his wife Linda of Westford, Michael Calisi and his wife Cathy of Methuen, and John Calisi and his wife Susie of Concord.  

He is also survived by a large and loving extended family, including many nieces and nephews, who will forever hold fond memories of his kindness and generosity.  His legacy of love and family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with his family on Monday June 2, 2025 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Gerald's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St.at 10 am. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
