Gerald "Mac" L. MacDonald

Gerald "Mac" L. MacDonald of Reading, passed away on May 4th at age 82. Mac is a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Mac is the beloved husband of Barbara (Tasney) MacDonald. He is the devoted father of Sharon Mullen Barry, Charles Mullen, Martha Mullen Mazzarino and Robert MacDonald and his wife Paula. Mac is the cherished grandfather of the late Michael Barry and survived by Kevin Barry and his wife Stacia, Susan Barry Schafer and her husband Danny, Tasney Mazzarino Laforme and her husband William, Jodi Mazzarino Howes and her husband Nate, Tina Mazzarino Fox and her husband Dan, Robyn Mazzarino Barry and her husband John, Robert Mazzarino, Sara MacDonald Tolliday and her husband Sam, Allison MacDonald and Evan MacDonald. He is the great-grandfather of eleven. Mac is the loving son of the late Andrew C. and Iva (Gorman) MacDonald. He is the dear brother of the late Clyde MacDonald, Laurence MacDonald and Alan MacDonald. Mac is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service Celebrating Gerald's Eternal Life Funeral will be held in the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday, May 10th at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, May 9th from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance are available.
