Polcari Gerard A. "Jerry" of  Reading  Dec. 12. Beloved husband of Rita (Croucher). Father of Melissa Sovay and her husband Herbert of Wakefield and Jessica Galarneau and her husband Brian of Burlington. Son of the late Domenic and Lillian Polcari.  Adored Papa of Emily, Ryan, Anthony and Nicholas. Brother of Marie Imparato of Reading, Joanne Polcari of Reading, Dianne Jamieson and her late husband David of Middleton  and David Polcari and his wife Debbie of Reading. Brother-in-law of Bob and Marie Paone of Middleton, Robert and Betty Verrengia of Dennis and Beverly Sanford of Malden. Gerard is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St, (Corner of Park St. and Rte. 28) NORTH READING, at Reading line, on Wednesday Dec. 18 at 10am.  Funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St.(Rte 62) , North Reading 11am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday 4-8pm. Interment Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gerard's name to the Hospice of North Shore, 75 Sylvan St., B102, Danvers, MA 01923. Gerard served his country in the US Army.
