Giacoma Maria (Crisci) Cefalu of Woburn, formerly of Stoneham passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. She was 92 years of age.
Born on December 8, 1927 in Palermo, Sicily, Italy, Giacoma is the loving daughter of the late Gaetano Crisci and Elizabetta (Durante) Crisci. Giacoma is a warm, kind and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Giacoma was a loyal and dedicated homemaker. She loved raising her children and maintaining her home. Spending time with loved ones meant the world to her.
Giacoma is the beloved wife of the late Antonio Cefalu. She is the devoted mother of Giuseppe Cefalu and his wife Josephine, Giuseppa Cefalu, Rosa Maria Cadena and her husband Hector and Guy Cefalu and his wife Maureen. The cherished grandmother of Anthony, Julia, Kristen, Jacqueline, Sophia and Ava, Giacoma is the dear sister of the late Salvatore Crisci, Vincenzo Crisci and Rosa Bianco. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
Giacoma's family will gather privately at the Barile Family Funeral Home in Stoneham on Thursday, May 14th before leaving for her burial to be reunited with her husband at Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Stoneham. For the safety of those they love and care so much for, a celebration of her life will be held when social distancing guidelines allow.
