Gilda Tammaro

Gilda (Pacillo) Tammaro, of Reading, formerly of Everett, passed away on March 5, 2013 at her home. She was 92 years of age.





Gilda was the beloved wife of the late Salvatore Tammaro. She was the loving mother of Janice Vertullo and her husband Richard, Sandra Woods and her husband Edward, Kenneth Tammaro and his wife Carol. Gilda was the cherished grandmother of Richard Vertullo Jr. and his wife Jennifer, Kenneth Vertullo and his fiance Lindsay Goddard, Darlene Vertullo, Jaclyn Hanley and her husband Brian, David Tammaro and his fiance Jennifer Johansson. She was the devoted great grandmother of 6 and the dear sister of Lucy Carpenella, Anthony Pacillo Jr. and the late Emma Bosco, Mille Murphy, Dorothy DeVico, Josephine Hadge, Michael Pacillo, and Marji Bertone.





Gilda was the daughter of the late Antonio Pacillo and Michelina (Maffeo) and the sister in law of Marilyn Pacillo. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.





Funeral from the Doherty Barile Famiy Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Gilda's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9 am . Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Friday, March 8th, 2013 from 3-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and handicapped entrance available. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
