Giuseppe Colomba of Reading, formerly of Somerville May 4, 2013 at age 78. Giuseppe immigrated from Italy in 1970.
He was the beloved husband of Rosaria (Fodera) Colomba. Giuseppe was the devoted father of Michael Colomba and his companion Maria Skaletsky, Gaetano Colomba, Piera Fico and her late husband Frank, Lorenzo Colomba and his wife Liana, and Joe Colomba and his wife Silvana. He was the cherished grandfather of 19 and great grandfather of 1. Giuseppe was the dear brother of Salvatore Colomba, Vito Colomba, and the late Lorenzo, Paula, Beatrice, and Nina. Son of the late Michael and Pietronilla (Saccheri) Colomba. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Giuseppe's Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at Trinity Evangelical Church, 105 Haverhill St., North Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 4-8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants and handicapped elevator are available. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.
