Giuseppe Paone

Giuseppe Paone, of Wakefield formerly of New York passed away at the Winchester Hospital July 15, 2003. He was 97 years of age.

Born in Italy, Mr. Paone was the son of the late Giuseppe and Grazia (Urso) Paone. He was educated in Italy and was a Veteran of W W II serving Italy. In Italy, Giuseppe was a farmer, growing vegetables and fruits selling them at his farmstand.

Giuseppe loved music and most of all loved to sing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be sadly missed.

Mr. Paone was the husband of the late Francesca (Carbone) Paone. He is survived by his children, Grace Arria and her husband Antonio of Wakefield, Tina Sorrenti and her husband Nino of Long Island, N.Y., Biagio Paone and his wife Josephine of Wilmington and Rosa Mauro and her husband Johnny of Wakefield. He was the loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Giuseppe was pre-deceased by his three brothers, two sisters and his twin sister Maria Rosaria.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday from 4-8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 18th at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church, Albion Ave. Wakefield. Burial will take place in Long Island, N.Y.
