Gladys (Szostak) Lyons

Gladys J. (Szostak) Lyons of Reading passed away on Tuesday March 18, 2014 at Winchester Hospital surrounded by her family. She was 88 years of age.

Gladys was a loving daughter, wife, mother, and friend. Her family was first and foremost in her life.

Gladys was a proud member of the Red Hat Society for many years.

Gladys was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Lyons. She was the loving mother of Andrew E. Lyons and his wife Marilyn, Richard J. Lyons and his wife Joanne, Edward M. Lyons, John F. Lyons and his partner Nora Bucko. Cherished grandmother of Justine and Jaclyn Lyons.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Gladys' Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family Friday from 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Woodend Cemetery, Reading.
