Glenn D. Port

Glenn D. Port of Reading passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at his home.  He is 58 years of age.

Born on Monday, November 22, 1965 in Melrose, Glenn is the beloved son of the late Donald Port and Barbara (Fuller) Port.  

Glenn, is a loyal, passionate and intelligent father, son, and friend. He loved learning about others lives, hobbies and seeing pictures of their pups! Glenn loved having discussions about current events and hearing others opinions. Glenn’s favorite things were long drives and spending time with his family eating pizza and playing board games with his daughter and granddaughter. He will truly be missed by all.

Glenn is the admired father of Courtney Solomito and her husband David.  The loving grandfather of Blair, Cooper and baby boy Solomito due in April of 2024, Glenn is also survived by his former wife and forever friend Lynne (Paro) Port and her fiancé Michael and his cousin Renee Gannon.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Glenn’s Family on Friday, January 19th from 11:30am – 12:30pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.  A Funeral Service Celebrating Glenn’s Eternal Life will be held at 12:30pm in the Funeral Home.  Interment Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham.
