Grace A. (Hickey) Dyment

Grace A. (Hickey) Dyment of Reading passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Woodbriar of Wilmington. She was 92 years of age.

Grace was born in East Boston on January 18, 1923. She was a dedicated homemaker. Grace was an avid sports fan and was passionate about hockey, football and baseball. She especially enjoyed watching her sons and grandsons play hockey at Reading High School. She was very proud of all of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping at Terrace Pines.

Grace was the beloved wife for 64 years of the late Frederick S. "Bud" Dyment. She was the devoted mother of Bill and Nancy Dyment, Jean and the late Richie Dyment, Linda and David Jordan, Kathy and Ken Valliere. Grace was the cherished grandmother of Suzanne and Tim Davis, Michael and Michele Dyment, the late Brian Jordan, Patrick Jordan, Ryan and Lindsay Dyment, Chris and Erica Dyment, Paul Valliere, Stephen Valliere. The loving great grandmother of 9, she was the dear sister of Bob and Jane Hickey. Pre-deceased by 12 brothers and sisters, Grace was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service celebrating Grace's Eternal Life will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 11am in the Chapel of the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and ramped entrance are available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
