Grace C. (Barbera) Palermo of Stoneham formerly of Chelsea passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010. She was 92 years of age.
Grace was the daughter of the late Concetta (Ruggiero) and Natale Barbera. Grace was a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sadly missed. She was a dedicated homemaker. Her family was first and foremost in her life.
Grace was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Palermo. Devoted father of Joanne Palermo, Connie Rosa and her husband Edward and Paul J. Palermo, Jr. and his wife Phyllis all of Stoneham. Cherished grandmother of Susan Rosa, Michael Rosa, Nicholas Palermo and Kristen Palermo. Dear sister of Mary Salvato and the late Joseph Barbera, Vinera Belfiore, Peter Barbera, John Barbera, Frances Parks and Frank Barbera. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Service on Tuesday, May 11th at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street (Rt. 28) STONEHAM. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
In lieu of flowers please honor Grace with donations to the Dutton Center, 1117 Main St., Wakefield, MA 01880.
