Gregory W. Burke, of Brockton, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on Thursday October 5th, 2023. He was 48 years of age.
Gregory is the beloved fiancé of Cathy Raulinaitis. He is the devoted father of Samantha Marie Burke. He is the loving son of Gerald and Dee (Murphy) Burke. Dear brother of Pamela LeDuc and her husband Christopher, Brendan Burke and his wife Samantha, Alycia Pelletier and her husband Michael, Rebecca Burke, and Deirdre Burke. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, including his Goddaughter, Isla.
Greg graduated from Stoneham High in 1992. He was a dedicated roofer for Roberto Brothers Roofing. Prior to that, he worked for the Boston Herald and the Boston Globe for many years.
Greg was an avid volunteer and member of the Redmen Club, where he met the love of his life, Cathy. They had recently moved to their dream home in Brockton, where Greg loved home improvement projects alongside working in the yard. He was an avid sports fan for all things Boston, so it should come as no surprise that he enjoyed playing fantasy football, darts, pool, as well as golf. Another deeply important thing to Greg was spending quality time with friends and loved ones, such as going camping, going on tropical vacations with Cathy, or being the life of the party at big Burke family gatherings. He was a proud father to his only daughter, Samantha, and always encouraged her to move up in the world.
