Helen A. (Dunn) Dermady

Helen A. (Dunn) Dermady, of Stoneham formerly of Malden, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 18, 2018. She was 87 years of age.

Born in Stoneham, Helen was the loving daughter of the late Francis and Helen (Fitzsimmons) Dunn. Helen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Helen was the beloved wife of the late Leo F. Dermady. She was the devoted mother of Kathleen Corindia and her husband David. She was the cherished grandmother of Debora J. O'Reilly, Joseph D. Corindia and his wife Lisa, Colleen M. Gerety and her husband Thomas and great grandmother of Collin, Paul, and Cameron. She was the sister of the late Francis X. Dunn Jr. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Helen attended the Immaculate Conception School, Malden Girl's Catholic, and later Malden Business School. She loved her first job at the Malden Savings Bank and after moving to Stoneham worked for several years at the New England Memorial Hospital.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM Tuesday November 27th at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Helen's Eternal Life in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Monday November 26th from 3 pm to 7 pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants and elevator available.
