Helen M. (Holland) Enos of Reading passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. She was 89 years of age.
Born on Saturday, September 15, 1934 in Malden, Helen is the loving daughter of the late Francis Holland and Helen G. “Kate” (McEvoy) Holland. Helen was known to be warm and kind, with an Irish sass on occasion. She was a gentle & loyal daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Helen was born and raised in Medford (Medfa) and very proud of it. She moved to Reading when she was a teenager, where she resided the rest of her life. She married her love, Clarence W. Enos, and built their home on West St. in Reading where they raised their family.
She is the devoted mother of Francis Enos (Anna) and Robert Enos. She was also the grandmother to Ashley Enos, the apple of her eye. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins from here all the way to County Cork Ireland. She was fiercely loyal to her friends, and they to her. They stood by her through all her days and made them worth living.
Funeral from the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING on Saturday, September 7 th at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Helen’s Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Helen’s Family on Friday, September 6 th from 4-7pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
