Helen Mary (Robbins) Tassi of Reading, passed away Friday, April 7, 2006 at Bear Hill Nursing Center, Stoneham. She was 84 years of age.
Born in Reading, Helen was the beloved daughter of the late George and Alma (Amiro) Robbins. She was a warm and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She will be missed by all. She loved her family. Her love for them went unparalleled.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Attilio Tassi. She was the devoted mother of Thomas G. Tassi and his wife Mildred of Wakefield, Michael D. Tassi and his wife Gail of Reading, Peter J. Tassi and his wife Patricia of N. Reading, Paul S. Tassi and his wife Cherie of Tyngsboro, Maria A. Tassi of Long Beach, CA. and the late Robert A. Tassi. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Dear sister John Robbins of Lowell, Vera DeFelice of CA., and Jeannette Scales of VT.
Funeral from the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Monday at 8am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Helen's life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading at 9am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Sunday 2-6pm. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot located behind Atlantic Supermarket on Haven St. Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
