Helen J. (Kittredge) Vacca of Stoneham passed away on Friday, April 15, 2005 at Sunrise Assisted Living Center in Peabody. She was 73 years of age.
Born in Roslindale, Helen was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas Kittredge and Lena Margarite (Lyons) Kittredge. Helen was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Helen was a dedicated employee for the Stoneham Independent for 25 years. She was devoted to her family. They were first and foremost in her life.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Louis P. Vacca. She was the devoted mother of Diane Vacca of Tallahassee, Florida, Thomas P. Vacca and his wife Kathi of Windham, New Hampshire, Carol A. Vacca of Stoneham and Susan E. Vacca of Delray Beach, Florida. Helen was the cherished grandmother of Rob and Theresa Vacca of Wakefield, Michael Vacca of Tewksbury and Craig Vacca of Windham, New Hampshire. She was the loving great grandmother of Alyssa, Brendan and Christopher. Helen was the dear sister of Lillian (Todd) Fritsley and her late husband of Ontario, Canada.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Thursday from 4-8pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants will be on duty.
