Henry Richard Champagne of Stoneham, formerly of Charlestown, passed away on October 28, 2014. He was 83 years of age.
Born on June 12, 1931 in Boston. Henry was a caring husband, loving father, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Henry loved flying and was the pilot of his own plane. He was a successful man in business and was the proprietor of two gasoline stations. In his spare time, Henry enjoyed spending time on the golf course.
He was the loving husband of Michele (Lally) Champagne. Henry was the cherished father of Mary Adamson and her husband Don, Laurie McClure and her husband Tim, Timothy Champagne and Meghan Champagne and her husband Peter Waterman. He leaves five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street, (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday, November 1, 2014 at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Henry's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 10:00 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Friday, October 31, 2014 from 3-7 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available. Internment St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
