Goodwin, Howard R. "Skip" –Of North Reading, July 31st. Beloved husband of Brenda (Hallett) Goodwin. Cherished father of Denise LaRochelle and her husband Laurence of Dracut and Deborah Goff and her husband James of Townsend. Adored brother of Edwin Goodwin of NH and Sandra Byrne of SC. Howard also leaves his lifelong friend Raynor Gagnon. Howard's Funeral will begin on  Wednesday,  Aug. 5th at 9:30am from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa's Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading at 10:30am. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday 4-8pm. Interment Riverside Cemetery, North Reading. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Howard's name to the Boston Wounded Warrior Project 150 Cambridge Park Drive, Suite 202. Cambridge, Massachusetts 02140. Howard was the past president of the North Reading Rifle Club and served his country proudly in the US Navy during Korean War.
