Ida E. Boudreau

Ida E. (Cotreau) Boudreau of Reading, passed away on January 6, 2009 at her home. She was 97 years of age.



Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, Ida was the loving daughter of the late Mary (Muse) Cotreau and John Cotreau. Ida moved to the United States in 1923 and spent most of her life in Reading.



Ida worked at Reading Tie Factory. Ida was a warm and caring wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.



Ida was the beloved wife of the late Clifford Boudreau. She was the devoted mother of Thomas D. Boudreau, Loretta A. Boudreau, Alice E. Cotreau and her husband Donald, Robert J. Boudreau and his wife Susan, Alvin F. Boudreau and his wife Yvonne. She was the cherished grandmother of Pamela, Mark and Elizabeth Cotreau, Ryan, Curtis and Michelle Boudreau. Ida was the dear sister of the late Nellie Cotreau, Mary Comeau, George, Frances and Delmer Cotreau. She was the loving sister-in-law of Carol Cotreau and Rita Boudreau. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.



Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Saturday at 8:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Ida's Life in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 9:00 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9. Parking is available in the municipal parking lot on Linden St. Interment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield. Please honor Ida with donations to St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading, MA 01867 or the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
