Ignatius F. Scalisi

Ignatius F. "Bill" Scalisi of Stoneham, formerly of the West End of Boston passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford. He was 78 years of age.
Born in Boston, Bill was the son of the late Michael and Lena Scalisi. He was a graduate of Bentley College Class of 1951. He was employed by the United States Postal Service at the Stoneham Post Office. Bill was an active member of the Mercury Club of the West End.
Bill was the beloved husband of Josephine A. (Vozzella) Scalisi. He was the devoted father of Celeste Campbell of Wakefield, Michael Scalisi of New York City and Mary J. Parechanian and her husband Scott of Holden. He was the loving grandfather of Cassandra, Joseph, Ashley and Adam. He was the dear uncle of many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Friday morning from 8:00am -9:30am in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. A Funeral Mass celebrating Bill's life will be held in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St Stoneham at 10am. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
