Illeana (Masel) Napoli

Illeana (Masel) Napoli, 69, of Reading, Massachusetts, passed away on December 7, 2025.

Illeana was the beloved daughter of Rosemarie Hrubi and the late Joseph Hrubi. She is survived by her loving brother Alex Masel, sister-in-law Dianne Masel, and cherished nephew Austin Masel. Illeana will also be deeply missed by her cousin Debbie Johnson, Debbie’s children Greg Johnson and Shauna and Shawn Goodwin and their daughter Teagan, along with many dear friends, including Anne, Thare, Sue, Linda, Maryanne, Nora, Diane  and extended family members who will forever hold her in their hearts.  

Illeana was also the mother of Joseph Napoli and his wife Tanya, and grandmother to Ava and Adeline.

For 26 years Illeana worked at Reading High School as an administrative assistant to the vice principal, where she was admired for her dedication and kindness.  Illeana was known for her warmth, generosity, her great sense of humor, and her unwavering loyalty to those she loved 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Wednesday December 17th, 2025 from 4 pm to 6:30 pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Illeana's Eternal Life at 6:30 pm. The burial will be private. Parking attendants and elevator available.
