Irene M. (Arpin) Antinoro

Antinoro, Irene , 88 of Reading passed away on Wednesday April 2, 2025. Born and raised in Somerville, she lived in Somerville, then Stoneham and most recently in Reading for the past 15 years. Irene was the daughter of the late Annie (Murphy) and Gerald Arpin. Beloved wife of 61 years to the late Charles (Charlie) Antinoro. Devoted mother of Linda Antinoro and Charles (Chuck) Antinoro of Reading; dear sister of the late Gerald Arpin, Robert (Bob) Arpin and Meriam Miele. Survived by other loving relatives.

Irene was an active parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Stoneham and St. Joseph’s in Wakefield where she attended daily and weekly mass in either spot for many years until she couldn’t drive and had to rely on rides.

Irene was a homemaker extraordinaire and loved to cook and shop. She also was fun employed at Marshalls for many years and had many stories to share about an array of customers. Plus, she often got many designer deals for her daughter.

In her spare time, she did the rosary nightly on TV (and often many other times during the day among many other prayers), watched some of her favorite shows like Blue Bloods, Law and Order and Family Feud. She loved dining out and sipping festive martinis- especially lemon drop. She also traveled extensively with her family. This included many areas in the U.S.A. and the world, with multiple repeat visits to Walt Disney World and Italy. In fact, a week before her passing to eternal life she was enjoying lunch at the Turtle Club in Naples Florida.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with her family on Tuesday April 8th, 2025 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 8:30 am to 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Irene's Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Parking attendants and elevator available.
