Irene L. (Sztucinski) Bellantoni

Irene L. (Sztucinski) Bellantoni passed peacefully December 23 at age 95. Beloved wife of the late Natale T. Bellantoni (married in 1946). Mother of Stephen J. Bellantone, David Bellantone and his wife Robin, Nancy Bellantoni and her husband Peter J. Galipault. Grandmother of Stephen Bellantone and his wife Cara, Marc Bellantone and his wife Angela, Jessica Bellantone and Evan Bellantone. Great grandmother of 5. Sister of the late Emil, Eugene and Stephen Sztucinski and Felicia Davis. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Daughter of Polish immigrants, Stanley Sztucinski and Katherine Krupska. Born September 19, 1921 in Lawrence, MA, attended Polish Catholic school, then moved to Reading, MA.

A graduate of Mass College of Art in Costume Design (1943), and Art Education (MA 1971), Irene met Nat at Mass Art and they became engaged before he left for service during WWII. Irene worked at Coleman's department store as a window designer and later as an art teacher in North Andover.

Irene loved her summer home in Rye, NH and encouraged her children to explore the beach and paint. She is remembered for her love of family and their friends, welcoming everyone into her home. Her sense of fashion and color, creative artistry, her love of painting and pastel portraits. Irene enjoyed learning new things; traveling to Sicily, China, Hong Kong, Hawaii, the Dominican Republic and California. She was much loved by everyone.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories on Thursday December 29th from 10am–12pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) Stoneham MA. Parking attendants and elevator available. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
