Nardella, Italia "Nonna" (Miele) – Of Somerville, Dec. 29th. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni Nardella. Mother of Cosmo Nardella and his wife Viktoria-Mae of Somerville. Grandmother of Giovanni Nardella and his wife Majenta Gafford of Medford and Sabrina Nardella of Reading.  Great grandmother of Eliana and Brantley.  Italia is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Relatives and friends are most respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville on Saturday, Jan. 5th at 11am.  Visiting hours at the Cota Funeral Home on Friday 5-8pm and also Saturday 10am-11am at the Church.  Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Please omit flowers and make donations in Italia's name to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452. Italia was a long time member of the S.S. Cosmas and Damian Society in Cambridge.
