James A. Brunini of Stoneham, passed away on July 13, 2016 at the age of 89. James was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and uncle.
Born on June 9th, 1927 in Somerville Massachusetts, James was the son of the late Alfred J. Brunini and Lillian (Corrieri) Brunini. James proudly served the United States Navy during World War II. He had an amazing gift to repair the irreparable and experiences unique to only a few. He truly amazed people by repairing and refurbishing anything that crossed his path. James had the gift to enthrall others with stories of his past and he will truly be missed by all who knew him.
James was the beloved husband of the late Joan (Hart) Brunini. Devoted father of James A. Brunini Jr. and his wife Mary, Mark W. Brunini and his wife Cheryl and Kenneth P. Brunini and his wife Pamela. Loving grandfather of Kenny, Jeff, Scott, K.C, James and adopted granddaughter Gina. James was also the beloved great grandfather of Emma, Shane, Addison and Fallon. Cherished brother of Alfred "Bud", Kenny and his wife Pat and Linda Formica and her husband Mark. James is survived by many loving nieces and nephews Giovana, Lisa, Keith and Tina.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Tuesday, July 19th at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating James Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Monday, July 18th from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
