James F. Costa of Kennebunkport, Maine, formerly of Reading & Somerville, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2008 at Southern Maine Medical Center. He was 78 years of age.
Born in Somerville, James was the loving son of the late James and Emelia (Souza) Costa. James was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, uncle, cousin and friend who will be sorely missed.
James was a dedicated Cabinet Maker for many years. He loved his family. They were first and foremost in his life.
James was the beloved husband of the late Anne "Nancy" (O'Keefe) Costa. He was the dear brother of the late Gilbert Costa, Alice Diaz, George, Dorothy and Hilda Costa. James was the cousin of Bella Miguel of Wakefield. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
At Jim's request, Visiting Hours have been omitted. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Graveside Service on Thursday at 1pm in Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
