James J. Dawson, Jr. of Stoneham and Wells, Maine passed away on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House. He was 58 years of age.
Born in Winchester, James was the beloved son of Agnes (Kelley) and the late James J. Dawson. James was a warm and loving son, father, grandfather and brother. He will be sadly missed.
James was the devoted father of Amy Ryan and her husband David of Woburn, James J. Dawson, III and Danielle, Michael and Daniel Dawson all of Stoneham. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Madelyn, Caitlyn and Samantha. Dear brother of Maureen Fredette of Stoneham, Paul Dawson and his wife Eileen of Stoneham, Ellen Paladino and her husband Gaetano of North Reading and the late Brian Dawson and his surviving wife Mary of Wakefield. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Thursday from 8:30 - 9:30 am in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating James' life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 am. Parking attendants will be available.
Jay will always be remembered for the love he had for his family and his beloved dog Char. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his name to The Merrimack Valley Hospice House, 360 Merrimack St., Bldg. 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
