James W. Mansir of Stoneham passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Woburn Nursing Center in Woburn. He was 92 years of age.
James was a resident of Malden for 58 years before moving to Stoneham. James was the son of the late Arthur Mansir and Helen (Clifton) Mansir. James was a loving and caring son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by all.
James was a dedicated employee of New Haven Railroad for 15 years and the City of Malden for 20 years. He was a proud member of the United States National Guard.
James was the beloved husband of the late Christine Ann (Drew) Mansir. He was the devoted father of Robert W. Mansir of Florida and Susan J. Mullen of Stoneham. James was the cherished grandfather of Christine Alley, James Mansir and Michael Mullen, the loving great grandfather of Tyler, Daniel and James and the dear brother of the late Herbert Mansir and Margaret Mansir.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday at 10 am in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Wednesday 6-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of James to the Stoneham Boys and Girls Club 15 Dale Ct Stoneham, MA 02180 or to Mystic Valley Elder Services 300 Commercial St. Malden, MA 02148.
