James Edward Regan

James Edward Regan of Stoneham passed away Monday, October 14, 2013 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years of age.

Born in Stoneham, James was a warm and loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be sadly missed and loved by all of his children, grandchildren, and all who knew him.

James was a retired Stoneham firefighter. He also worked for many years for the M.D.C. In his free time, James coached Stoneham Youth Hockey and Baseball for many years. James was an avid Boston Bruins fan. He enjoyed many happy times in North Conway, NH with his family. James was a United States Army Veteran serving as a Military Police Officer.

James was the beloved husband of Marilyn Rose (Sateriale) Regan. He was the devoted father of Kathleen Cammarata and her husband Ben, James Regan and his wife Mary, Edward Regan and Angela, Richard Regan and his wife Linda, Brian Regan and his wife Stacey, Robert Regan, Kevin Regan and his wife Jennifer, Dianne Parisi and her husband John, and Timothy Regan and his wife Caroline. James was the cherished grandfather of Jessica, Peter, Sean, Roselyn, Eddie, Jennifer, Katelyn, Dylan, Marilyn, Jillian, Evan, Shae, Erin, Anna, Kayla, James and Dakota. He was the loving great grandfather of Gavin. James was the son of the late Edward J. and Mary Ida (Melvin) Regan.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating James' Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 in Saint Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
