Jane N. Carisella, 48, of Wakefield, passed away at her residence in Gloucester on Monday May 11, 2009.
Miss Carisella was born in Woburn on May 11, 1961, daughter of Vincent Carisella, Sr. and the late Joan (English) Carisella-Dascoli. Raised in Wakefield and, educated in Wakefield schools, and graduated from Wakefield High School, class of 1980.
Miss Carisella attended trade school for pet grooming and owned and operated the Animal Kingdom Groomery, Main Street, Wakefield for over 25 years. She has resided in Gloucester for the past several years enjoying the beaches and ocean.
She loved all animals, including her devoted dog, Petey. Loved spending time with her family, many friends and clients and most importantly, her cherished only daughter, Melissa.
Her surviving family include her loving daughter, Melissa J. Callanan of Boston, father, Vincent Carisella, Sr. of Wakefield, siblings, Vincent Carisella, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Wakefield, and Valerie Flynn and her husband John of Wakefield; nieces Brittany and Vanessa Carisella and nephew Liam Flynn all of Wakefield, and the late Christopher Todisco; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28), STONEHAM, at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Jane's Life in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10:00 AM. Private interment will be held in Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Friday 4-8pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants will be available.
