Loving mother of Elaine Petersen and her husband Rick of NH; Maureen Wojcik and her husband Stan of Littleton; Barry Smith and his wife Minda of OH; Keiren Stewart and her husband Scott of North Reading; Gregory Smith of NJ; Monica Eynatian of Chelmsford; Gerard Smith and his wife Kathy of SC and Matthew Smith and his wife Eileen of NH. Daughter of the late Francis and Janet Hart. Devoted grandmother of nineteen and great grandmother of eight. Sister of the late Marylou McCarthy, Margaret Blouin, Elaine Ring and Lois Doyle. Janet is also survived by many treasured in-laws and extended family members as well as loving nieces and nephews. Janet was a very active member of St, Agnes Parish in Reading. Janet's funeral will begin from the Funeral Home on Monday March 21st at 9:30am. Her Funeral Mass will be held in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 10:30am. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6pm.
