Janet Marks Roberts

Janet A. (Marks) Roberts of Stoneham, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Woodbriar of Wilmington. She was 78 years of age.

Born on January 22, 1936 in Stoneham, Janet was the loving daughter of the late Leo J. Marks and Stella (Vaughn) Marks. Janet was a loving and caring wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Janet was born and raised and Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School.

Janet was the beloved wife of the Franics A. "Buddy" Roberts. She was the caring mother of Francis A. Roberts Jr. and his wife Catherine, Richard P. Roberts, Joanne M. Roberts and Lisa J. Costa and her husband John. Janet was the cherished grandmother of ShawnRoberts, Joseph Roberts, Richard P. "Buddy" Roberts, Thomas Dignan and his wife Sarah and Maria A. Costa. She was a loving sister or Richard Marks, Loretta Simmons and the late Leo J. Marks Jr. She was the treasured sister-in-law of Claire Lund. Janet was also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Janet's Eternal Life in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion Street, WAKEFIELD at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 6-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator are available.
