Jean Howell Eiland

Jean (Howell) Eiland, 76, beloved daughter of the late Tyrus and Joan (Thompson) Howell, passed away on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2019 at the Sawtelle Hospice House, surrounded by her family.

Jean was a lover for animals. She could not get enough of her dogs, horse, bears and whatever wild life there was. She was an avid horse rider and competed in horse shows. After that she got into dog agility and took that passion up until her dogs were too old to compete but did volunteer at the shows to stay involved.
She dog sat a lot and walked the woods of Callahan in Framingham and Ashland State park. She also loved to garden. She had a lovely garden in Marlboro and took pride in keeping it looking nice every year.

Jean is the devoted mother of Denise Dunn and her husband Bill and Richard Eiland and his wife Dana. Cherished grandmother of Kelsey Jean, Holly Rose, Turner, Leo and Grace. Loving sister of Trent Howell and his wife Lesha, Ty Howell and Terry Howell. Aunt of Thomas and Nathan.

Friends and family are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Jean's family in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (Rt. 28) Stoneham on Saturday, April 13th, 2019 from 3 to 5pm

A Celebration of Jean's Life will be held immediately following in the funeral home at 5pm.
