Jean M. (Toussaint) Magno

 

Jean M. (Toussaint) Magno of Stoneham formerly of Reading passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2022.  She is 88 years of age.

 

Born on Thursday, January 18, 1934, Jean is the loving daughter of the late Alpha Toussaint and Rose (Franson) Toussaint.  Jean is a warm, kind and gentle daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend who will be truly missed.

 

Jean loved family and friends.  She enjoyed entertaining and having company.  A consummate homemaker, Jean loved to cook, especially on Thursdays when she would have her family over for spaghetti and meatball dinners.  She found pride in babysitting when the kids were little, and she loved shopping.  Known as “Lady Fingers”, Jean like playing cards with her husband and their friends.  She was also known to enjoy an occasional trip to Foxwoods.

 

Jean is the beloved wife of the late Ermine Magno.  She is the devoted mother of Dennis Curran and his wife Gale, Dolores “Dolly” Souther and Gloria DeCicco and her husband Gary.  The cherished grandmother of Richard Curran and his wife Carrie, Dennis Curran Jr. and his wife Michelle, Charles Curran, Sheri Souther and her fiancé Sean, William Souther and his wife Nicole, Gary DeCicco and his wife Elise and Toni DeCicco, Jean is the doting great grandmother of Payton, Mason, Chase, Karsyn, Charlie, Quinn, Cole, Layla and Archie.  She is the dear sister of the late Leopole, Clifford, Wilford and Donald Toussaint, Melda Johnson, Rita DelRossi, Dorothy Gallagher, Helen Melanson and Gloria Doucette.  Jean is also lovingly survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

 

A Funeral Service Celebrating Jean’s Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday, May 31st at 12pm in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main Street, STONEHAM.  Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with Jean’s Family prior to the Service beginning at 9am.  Parking attendants and elevator are available.  Interment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
