Jeanette Frances Rivers of Reading passed away peacefully in her home on Friday November 30, 2012.
Jeanette was the beloved wife of the late Franklin M. Rivers. She was the devoted mother of David Rivers and his wife Diane of Trumbull, Connecticut, Paul Rivers and his wife Dorothy of Melrose, Stephen Rivers and his wife Arlene of Dracut, Edward Rivers of Reading and Alexandra Maguire of North Reading.
She was the cherished grandmother of Sara Fowler and her husband Dave of Connecticut, Austin Rivers of Connecticut, Bryon Rivers and his wife Erica of Amesbury, Heidi Ware and her husband Greg of San Francisco, Taylor McVeigh Rivers and her husband Dave of San Francisco, Greg Rivers of San Francisco and Christopher Rivers of Brooklyn, NY.
Jeanette was the adoring great grandmother of Brandon and Brooke Fowler, Lauren, Jacob, and Kelly Rivers, Lulu and Sailor Ware.
Mom, Jumpah, Gamma, Gigi and Grammy, as she was often referred to by those who knew her affectionately, leaves an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright sunny days. She was our greatest "fan" and will be forever remembered for the love, kindness and smile she had for everyone.
We ask you to join us in the celebration of the life of a beautiful and loving person who will be dearly missed. A Funeral Mass Celebrating Jeanette's Eternal Life will be held on Tuesday December 11, 2012 at 10:30am in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St. Reading.
