Jeanne A. (Sullivan) Bernard of Reading passed away on Thursday December 18, 2009 at Woodbriar Nursing Home in Wilmington.
Born in Boston, Jeanne was a resident of Reading for many years. She was a Wheaton College Alumni. She also loved to volunteer her time to Friends of Winchester Hospital where she had many friends and was well known. She will be missed by all.
Jeanne was the beloved wife of the late John F.X. Bernard. Cherished mother of Stephen A of South Boston, Peter J. of Sherborn, MA, John R. of Winchester, Gregory P. of Danvers, and Monica Cataldo of Derry, NH. Devoted grandmother of 14. Dear sister of Roger Sullivan and Barbara Sullivan both of Hingham.
Funeral from the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Jeanne's Life in St. Athanasius Church 300 Haverhill St. Reading at 10am.
Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Monday 3-7pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants will be available. Internment Forest Glen Cemetery, Reading.
