Jeffrey E. Day, beloved son of Elizabeth (McKeage) Day and the late Ronald Day, passed away on April 30, 2025 at age 57.

Jeff grew up in North Reading and was a graduate of North Reading High School, class of 1986.  He had a love of life and making the most out of every day. An avid sports fanatic, Jeff especially loved and was incredibly skilled at snowboarding and mountain biking. As a youth, he was a BMX rider and racer. He was a big Patriots fan. He could fix or repair anything. Jeff enjoyed trips to Maine and Vermont, and traveling for music events and snowboarding.

Jeff had an infectious smile, a lightning quick wit and could make anyone laugh. He was a quiet tower of strength who would do anything for anybody. He was happiest when he was together with his many dear friends and his adoring family, and is already deeply missed by everyone who was lucky enough to be part of his life.

He was the cherished brother of Gary Day of Andover, Kathi Denehy and her husband Joseph of Tewksbury and Judy Burgess and her husband Bruce of Royalton, Vermont. He was a beloved uncle to Jason, Jennifer, Joseph, Caitlyn and Phillip, and great uncle to several great nieces and nephews. He will also be especially missed by his cousin Brent Carpenter and close friend Glenn Morley who both considered him a brother and a big part of their families. There are friends and family whose children now have to go on without their honorary Uncle Jeff.

He was employed by Mercury Systems in Hudson, NH at the time of his passing. Jeff was a hard worker who was looking forward to retiring soon.
