Jeffrey A. "Jazz" Jazakawiz died unexpectedly in his sleep, on Friday, February 25, 2005. He was 54 years of age.
Born in Melrose, Jazz was a longtime resident of Reading. He was the beloved son of Francis C. Jazakawiz and the late Dorothy M. (Holden) Jazakawiz. Jazz was a loving and caring son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jazz was a dedicated employee for the Parks Department for the Town of Reading for the past 15 years. He was a devoted member of the American Legion Post 62 in Reading. Jazz enjoyed sports, especially golf.
Jazz was the devoted father of Michelle Goodhue and her husband Jeffry of Haverhill and Shannon Reilly of New Hampshire. He was the cherished grandfather of Madelyn, Julia, Isabelle and Sophie. Jazz was the dear brother of the late Betty Jazakawiz.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Sunday from 2-5pm in the Joseph Doherty - Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Parking attendants will be on duty.
