Jennette G. (Raine) Sullivan of Stoneham, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2014 at Life Care Center of Stoneham. She was 89 years of age.
Jennette was the beloved wife of the late James M. Sullivan. Devoted mother of James M. Sullivan and his wife Seta, of Arlington MA. Myles J. Sullivan and his wife Maureen of Arlington MA. Rita F. Blanchard and her husband John of Stoneham MA, Janet M. McSweeney and her husband David of Windham NH. Mark J. Sullivan of Reading MA. , Helen E. Sullivan and her husband Karl Hanson of Chelmsford MA. She was the cherished grandmother of 15 and great-grandmother of 3. Grandchildren: Alina, Gina, Matthew, Brandon, Myles, Jenna, Joseph, Daniel, Rita, Michael, David, Katherine, Emily, Elizabeth, Jeanette. Great–grandchildren Max, Luke and Hailey. The dear sister of the late William Raine, Jennette was the loving daughter of the late William Raine and Gertrude (Cunningham) Raine.
Before her retirement Jennette spent many years working as an employee at Madico and Medical Parameters in Woburn where she enjoyed her co-workers and was always great for a laugh and was known to be a great employee. She and her 6 children were members of St. Anthony Parish in North Woburn where they were all raised. She was a member there for over 35 Years. Jennette was a very special, caring person who got great satisfaction from helping others and loved everyone unconditionally. Her greatest joy was raising her kids in Woburn and seeing them bring up 15 grand children and 3 great-grand children whom she cherished. Her joy came from being with her kids and grand kids and having everyone over the house for great meals whether it be for a holiday, birthday or a great Easter Egg hunt in the back yard hosted by her and her late husband Jim. Jennette had a love for life and loved to joke and get a smile out of anyone she came in contact with.
During her final years in (Life Care Stoneham, MA) she was known to be the one helping take care of her friends and always making sure they were happy and provided for. Her great sense of humor was always present at the Bingo table, social events, field trips and musical events with her friends. Her greatest joy will be the love and pride she had for all of her children, grand children and great-grand children.
A Funeral Mass Celebrating Jennette's Eternal Life will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2014 at 10am in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. STONEHAM. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
