Jennifer Anne
(Walsh) Lavalle
April 22, 1964 – February 8, 2022
Jennifer Anne LaValle, 57, of Everett, passed away on Tuesday, February 8th, 2022 with her loving family at her side. Jennifer was born in Lynn to Elizabeth (Doyle) Walsh and the late John F. Walsh.
Jennifer grew up in Medford and was a graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Malden. She settled in Medford and raised her four daughters. Jennifer worked for many years for the non-profit organization Caritas Community, helping with housing for those in need.
Jennifer was a kind and loving person. She opened her home and was like a second mother to many of her children's friends and to her family. She enjoyed the beach, watching football, coloring and taking trips to the casino. She loved to look good. Getting her nails done, he hair styled and having an endless shoe collection made Jennifer feel gorgeous, but it was her generous and loving nature that shined through.
Her greatest joy came from her family. Jennifer made sure to spoil her grandchildren, love her four girls and cherish her fiancé. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and countless friends.
In addition to her mother Elizabeth, Jennifer is the loving fiancé of ten years to James Mattos of Everett. Devoted mother of Erin Miller of Chelsea, Laura LaValle of Everett, Rochelle LaValle of Everett and Jenna LaValle of Braintree. Cherished grandmother of Janaya, Jahvon, Jiaire and Jakari Jules, Loyal LaValle, Jada and Jamir Choice, Jason LaValle, Kayden, Mason and Dylan Jones, Jaelyn LaValle, Alicia Vasquez, Raniya Knight and the late Nicholas Jones. Loving sister of Lauren Walsh of Medford and William Walsh and his wife Lisa of York Beach, Maine. Beloved aunt of Patrick and Nicholas Walsh or York Beach, Maine. She also leaves many cousins, friends and extended family.
Family and friends are cordially invited to visiting hours at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., North Reading (Corner of Park St. and Rt.28 at the Reading Line) on Sunday, February 13th, 2022 from 1 to 3pm. Immediately following the visitation, a funeral service for Jennifer will be held.
