Joan T. (Fleming) Buonomo of Woburn passed away on Sunday November 7, 2004 at Aberjona Nursing Center in Winchester. She was 66 years of age.
Born in Somerville, Joan was a longtime resident of Woburn. Joan was the daughter of the late James Fleming and Margaret (Roach) Fleming. Joan was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
Joan was a dedicated homemaker for many years. She loved her cats. She enjoyed deep sea fishing. Joan was known for her sense of humor and her love for food.
Joan was the beloved wife of Frank G. Buonomo. She was the devoted mother of Debra Sullivan of Lowell, Francis Buonomo of Woburn, Dina Doss of Texas and the late Donna Marie DiMambro. Joan was the cherished grandmother of James Doss, Robert Doss and Dallas Doss, all of Texas, John Michael DiMambro of Woburn, Jennifer DiMambro of Waterbury, Connecticut. She was the loving great grandmother of Nicole DiMambro of Woburn and Skyler Stocking of Waterbury, Connecticut. Joan was the dear sister of Robert Fleming and his wife Stephanie Jones of Mashpee and the late James Fleming. She was the sister in law of Rosalie Clarkston of Lowell and her late husband Ray, Dolores Camarata and her husband Joseph of Malden.
A Celebration of Joan's life will be held on Saturday at 4pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Saturday from 2-4pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
