Joan F. (Donovan) Colburn, of Stoneham, passed away at her home on Saturday August 18, 2007. She was 75 years of age.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John W. Donovan and Johanna A. (Hanlon) Donovan.
Joan was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grand mother, great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by all.
Joan was the beloved wife of the late John Colburn. She was the devoted mother of Patricia Flueckiger of Needham, Kathleen Butts of Billerica, Carol Ayala of Manchester New Hampshire, John Colburn of Tewksbury, and Paul Colburn of Merrimac New Hampshire. Joan was the loving grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 1. She was the dear sister of John W. Donovan Jr. of California and Paul Donovan of Florida.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Joan's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am.
Family and friends are kindly invited Visiting Hours, Wednesday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
