HOYT, Joan E. (Spillane) a long time resident of Reading, September 7th, 2011 at age 80. Beloved mother of Scott Hoyt of Tewksbury, Brian Hoyt and his wife Kristine of Wilmington, Mike Hoyt and his wife Renee of Salem NH, Joan Wheaton of Tewksbury and the late Barry Hoyt and his surviving wife Elaine of Reading and Scott Christopher Hoyt. Son in law of Brian Wheaton Sr., Loving family friend who is like a daughter Nancy Salt of Tewksbury. Devoted grandmother of Kevin, Trenton, and Jamie Hoyt, Brian and Christine Wheaton, and Jennifer Hoyt. Dear sister of Barbara Teel and her late husband Donald of Reading and the late Mary Abbot and Sandra Turner. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Doherty Barile Family Funeral Home 11 Linden St. READING Tuesday at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Joan's Eternal Life in St. Agnes Church 186 Woburn St. Reading at 10:30am.
