Joan M. (Bassett) Mallard, of Reading, passed away on Sunday Jan. 6th, 2019. She was 86 years of age.
Joan is the beloved wife of the late John J. Mallard. Devoted mother of Carol Leger and her husband David, Marilyn Capuzzo and her husband Jack. Cherished grandmother of Lily Capuzzo. Dear sister of the late Carol Mallard. Aunt of Joan Blevins and Frank Mallard.
A Funeral Service Celebrating Joan's Eternal Life will be held in the Doherty Barile Family Funeral 11 Linden St. READING on Thursday Jan. 10th at 10 am. Interment will be in MA National Cemetery, Bourne.
Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with the Family on Wednesday, Jan. 9th from 3-7pm in the funeral home. Parking attendants available.
